9 March 2019 – Two-at-a-Time Toe-Up Socks!

9 March 2019 – Two-at-a-Time Toe-Up Socks!

10.30 – 3.30 (buffet lunch included)

Come and learn how to knit two socks at the same time, from the toe up, on a long circular needle. This is a great way to get a perfect fit and get the most out of your yarn. When you knit up from the toe you can make the legs of your socks as long or short as you want or your yarn permits. It is also a great way to avoid 'second sock syndrome' and a drawer full of single socks that never got a partner!

The cost includes:

  • 2 balls of DK yarn sufficient to make a pair of small sample socks in the workshop
  • workshop notes
  • tuition
  • light refreshments and a buffet lunch

Please bring with you a 4mm circular needle 80cm long (100cm would also be ok). We will be using the magic loop method to make the socks and so DPNs are not suitable for this workshop.

Needles will be available to buy on the day if needed.
