This simple chunky weight hat is knit flat and seamed. It is an ideal project for a beginner knitter.

The kit is available in 4 shades of WYS Retreat and contains 100g of yarn and the pattern with a QR code to a Nova Tutorial Video.

You will also need:

1 pair of 5.5mm needles and 1 pair of 6mm needles
An 85mm pompom maker or cardboard and scissors to do it the old fashioned way!

The Nova Hat fits snugly on your head but adding a few rows to the brim or the body will make it more slouchy and you will have enough yarn to do this. The finished size fits head circumference 51cm (20 inches).
