This pretty cowl can be worked in the round or flat from a moss stitch hem. The lace pattern is easy to work but effective and the resulting cowl is an elegant combatant to the cold and frosty weather.

Wear it by itself or team it with Stella’s Nanook Cowl, folded over the top to create an attractive contrast lining!

Needles:

1 pair 3.25mm (US 3) needles for version worked flat
1 pair 3.50mm (US 4) needles for version worked flat

40 cm circular needle size 3.25mm (US 3) for version worked in the round
40 cm circular needle size 3.50mm (US 4) for version worked in the round

Tension: 22 sts and 38 rows to 10 cm (4 in) measured over textured pattern when blocked using 3.50mm (US 4) needles.

Size: Blocked cowl measures approx 61 cm (24 in) circumference x 21 cm (8½ in) long.
