Knitted top-down from a garter stitch tab, this elegant shawl was a pleasure to make. The stocking stitch centre drapes wonderfully in this silky-soft yarn and the stitch definition of the blend works beautifully to show off the sculptured lace border of classic lace pattern repeats. All in all, a great project which is interesting to work and very wearable in finish.

Approx 390m of 4ply yarn

Needles: 80 cm circular needle size 4.50mm (US 7)

Tension: 17 sts and 26 rows to 10 cm (4 in) measured over stocking stitch when blocked using 4.50mm (US 7) circular needle.

Size: Blocked shawl meas approx 146 cm (58 in) x 73 cm (29 in).
