These simple stranded colour work mitts use 5 shades of 4 ply yarn and are constructed with an afterthought thumb. Originally available just as a kit using 5 single breed yarns in different natural shades, the pattern is now available on its own and can be used with 5 x 25g balls of Jamieson and Smith 2ply jumper weight to make a colourful pair of mitts.

To make the mitts you will also need:

• 2.75mm needles – either an 80cm circular for magic loop, or a set of DPNs.

• some scrap yarn

• a tapestry needle for weaving in the ends.
