Quercus by Stella Ackroyd

Quercus by Stella Ackroyd

£4.50

Named from the Latin word for Oak, Quercus cleverly adapts the traditional Shetland Fern Lace pattern to create an elegant shawl or hap. Absorbing yet easy to work, the design consists of four main pattern rows which are simple to memorise. New leaves emerge cleverly from a central spine in a very pleasing manner, only to gently tumble from a minimal border with a delicately fluted effect.

This pattern, by Stella Ackroyd, has instructions for making Quercus from a 50g of lace-weight yarn.
