Iona Hap by Stella Ackroyd
Iona Hap by Stella Ackroyd
Based on her original worsted weight design, this pattern has been re-worked in 200gm of Stella’s own lovely Home Flock 4 ply yarn.
Worked top-down from a garter stitch tab, this easy to follow pattern has just enough going on to keep a knitter’s interest without presenting too much challenge. Increased stitches are cleverly incorporated into the textured pattern so that they can’t be seen and the gentle central spine eyelets create a slight crescent shape which gently hugs your shoulders in wear.
It’s a lovely shawl which looks just as good in the summer sunshine as it does bundled over a coat in winter - pretty without being fussy, just right for our lovely soft Shetland wool!
Short and easy to follow, the pattern includes a border chart to support the written instructions.
