The JACKIE bandana is a small, simple triangular scarf. It is ideal as a scarf for blouses and shirts, but also looks great as a hair band - the perfect little accessory for spring and summer - knitted quickly with just one ball of yarn.

The shawl is knitted sideways, starting with a narrow band of ribbing. The middle section is then formed using increases up to the widest point followed by decreases down to another narrow band of ribbing to match the opposite end.

Techniques used: double selvedge stitches, right leaning increases and decreases. All techniques used are explained directly in the instructions or under ‘Terms & explanations’ on page 4.
