Ideal for wearing buttoned up or over a dress or high-waisted trousers, Falesia Cardigan by Emilie Luis is a short cardigan with a lace raglan line. Back and front sections are knit from top to bottom seamlessly. The three quarter puff sleeves are worked down in the round.

Finished bust circumference approximately : 31 (34 - 36.25 - 38 - 40) (42 - 46 - 50 - 54) inches or 79 (86 - 92 - 96 - 102)(107 - 117 - 127 - 137) cm.
Gauge : 26 sts x 34 rows for 4 x 4 inches or 10 x 10 cm in st st with 3.25 mm/US 3 needles.
Yarn: approximately 725 (757 - 875 - 898 -1018)(1116 - 1257 - 1322 - 1463) yards or 665 (695 - 800 - 825 - 930)(1020 - 1150 - 1210 - 1340) m of fingering / 4ply weight yarn.
Materials: Circular needles sizes 3 mm/US 2.5 (rib), 3.25 mm/US 3 (body and sleeves), tapestry needle, waste yarn or stitch holder, 10 stitch markers and 6 to 8 - 0.5 inches or 10 mm buttons.
Recommended ease : -2 to +2 inches or - 5 to + 5 cm.

The raw materials for our yarns come from South Africa. Our spinning mill is RMS / RWS and oeko-tex certified, which ensures the wool is produced with respect for animals, humans and the environment. (See below for more detail about these processes.)
Albertine is a 4 ply, worsted spun yarn made from the fleece of Merinos d'Arles, raised on an organic farm near Aureille in Provence, France, with a touch of silk from south of Shanghai, China.
The silk gives this fine (21.5 microns) and exceptionally elastic wool a discreet satiny sheen and a very nice drape.
These very fine fibres are combed into a ribbon to increase their softness and strength, and then spun in the Biella region of Italy, as no spinning mill in France today is capable of spinning such fine combed yarn. This single strand is then twisted to create a four strand yarn, dyed in Creuse (France).

Care:This yarn is not superwash treated. We recommend washing your knitted fabric in warm water with soap or a suitable detergent. If you wish to test the wool programme of your machine, we advise you to do so first with your sample.
A soft, smoothly-plied, lightweight sock yarn in a range of semi-solid and watercolor multi colorways. Spun from luxurious merino and treated to make it machine washable for easy care. Don’t be fooled by the name – while it’s certainly a treat for the feet, this delightful yarn is also a particular favourite for shawls and scarves!
