Épuré is a minimalist design, a sweater with generous ease and narrow sleeves that contrast beautifully with the straight cut and balance the silhouette. The easy-to-knit slip stitch pattern adds structure and requires just enough attention during knitting to keep things interesting. The V-neck, a fine line at the back shoulder, and the precise joining of the front pieces give the model a calm elegance. Épuré is suitable for both casual everyday looks and dressed-up outfits.
CONSTRUCTION: Épuré is knitted seamlessly from top to down. After the back has been worked up to the underarms, the stitches for the fronts are picked up from the shoulder edges and these are also worked up to the underarms. After joining front and back, the body is worked in rounds down to the hem. Stitches are picked up from the armholes and the sleeves are knitted in rounds to the desired length.

ORIGINS AND MANUFACTURE
Bérénice is a unique blend of extra-fine Angora goat fibres from South African farms committed to animal welfare and the soft, plump wool of our organic Merinos d'Arles, spun into loops around a strong, shiny silk yarn, then combed to give the desired tousled, voluminous look.
The yarn is then dyed using ecological dyes that comply with GOTS specifications to reduce its environmental impact. We manufacture this very special yarn in Italy, near Biella.
