Loch Lomond is a tweedy yarn with neps. It is woollen spun, giving it both volume and a good long meterage that will work for DK projects on a larger needle and even sport-weight patterns on a smaller needle at a tighter gauge.

It is GOTS certfified – from sheep to dye stuff, from production to stock keeping and packing, each step is inspected carefully and in line with very strict organic and social standards.

Inspired by the breathtaking scenery of Ireland’s Northern Headlands, Arranmore Light is spun in a mill that traces its roots to the homespun tweed industry of 19th century County Donegal.

Blending cashmere and silk with fine merino wool creates an authentic tweed yarn of the finest quality.

With a colour palette reminiscent of the wild Irish coastlands, this yarn was designed for makers appreciating the best of luxury and tradition.

Processed in a mill in England’s historical textile region of West Yorkshire, Lore is made of 100% lambswool from the Romney sheep breed also referred to locally as Kent lamb. It is an honest woollen spun DK weight yarn that blooms into a beautiful knitted fabric after washing. Garments made from Lore will wear well and are perfect for everyday and special adventures alike.

Lore is also available in 25g (62m) mini-balls ideal for colourwork

Devonia is the first blend John Arbon created which was made exclusively using local West Country fibre. For Devonia, they chose a beautiful blend of Exmoor Blueface, Bluefaced Leicester and Lustre breeds. The Exmoor Blueface – their local sheep – brings its wonderful springy nature, the Bluefaced Leicester lends its outstandingly soft handle and lustre to the yarn, whilst the lustre breeds (a combo of Wensleydale and Romney) add their qualities of beautiful golden sheen and fine drape.

Together they create a wonderfully drapey lustrous blend, with just a dash of woolly bounce. It’s a go-to fibre for any time you want a little swing, like shawls and drapey cardis.

Along with the original three natural shades, there are now eight beautiful new dyed shades depicting the depth and captivating colours of the countryside of Yorkshire, home of West Yorkshire Spinners. From the luscious green rolling hills of the Pennine Way to the rugged, brooding beauty of the natural limestone rocks at Malham Cove, the essence of Yorkshire is spun into every skein.

This 100% British Bluefaced Leicester yarn is spun from the finest British fleece and a superb example of the quality of British wool.
