This simple raglan pullover is worked from the top down. Stitches are cast on for the back and the beginning of the sweater is worked flat to shape the shoulders, then stitches are cast on for the front neck and joined in the round for the remainder of the sweater. This cozy sweater can be worn with 3-8”positive ease. Shown in size 3 with 7” positive ease.

A note on Marling the colors and fading…..
This was my first time doing it this way, but I found that even though you’re only knitting with 3 strands at once, I liked the way the colors blended best when I had 4 or even 5 balls of yarn attached to the sweater, and each round I would swap out a strand, gradually incorporating the next color I wanted to blend to….

US Size 10.5 (6.5 mm) circular needles, minimum 24” cord (or size needed to obtain gauge)
US Size US 8’s (5.0 mm) circular needles, 16” cord.Optional for a stretchier bind off.
DPN in both needle sizes (optional) for sleeves
Tapestry needle
Stitch marker (4; one unique to denote BOR).
Waste yarn or stitch holders for sleeve stitches
