A step-by-step pattern that is easy to work.

The pattern includes:
Two neckline options: A smaller neckline and a wider neckline.
Two sleeve length options: A short sleeve and an above-elbow sleeve.

The Going West Tee is worked top down in the round. First, German short rows are worked together with shoulder increases to create a nice shoulder shape and a beautiful neckline.
Then the lace pattern is worked, followed by raglan increases. The body and sleeves are divided and worked down in the round. A twisted rib finishes the body hem. The instructions are step-by-step, with illustrations and links to YouTube tutorials.
The lace pattern includes both a chart and a written chart.

De Rerum Natura Antigone
£16.00

Yarn composition: 100 % linen, grown in Normandy (France) without the use of pesticides.
Ball weight: 100g
Yarn weight: Sport
Meterage: 260 m (284 yards) per 100g ball

Recommended gauge: 20–22stitches x 28–30rows per 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4") in stocking stitch
Recommended needle sizes: 3–4mm

Composed of ten strands of well-twisted combed linen, Antigone has a smooth, silky and deliciously fresh feel. This yarn can be knitted with fine needles for a regular result or in a loose fit to take advantage of its natural drape, which allows it to be adapted to a large number of patterns. It will be perfect for knitting mid-season jumpers and little tops for the warm weather, a lace cardigan to go with a pretty dress or even crocheting a shopping bag!

This yarn is made from flax grown in Normandy by the Terre de lin cooperative as part of a project to return to ancient cultivation practices aimed at preserving the soil and producing high quality fibres without chemical inputs. These long fibres are wet-spun in Lithuania with great care to create a regular, soft and naturally shiny yarn. The yarn is then twisted and dyed in France in the Creuse region.

Antigone has been named after "the one who says no" to the plays of Jean Anouilh. It is advisable to wash your finished garment on a delicate machine cycle, and dry it flat to maintain its shape.

GAUGE (for 10 x 10 cm of st st)

24 st x 38 rows on 3 mm needles / US 2
22 sts x 34 rows on 3.5 mm needles / US 4

Please note:
The colours of Candide are obtained from a complex process that involves dyeing the wool before spinning with natural dyes. This means there may be slight variations in shade within the same production batch. Before knitting, it is recommended you check the colour consistency in the balls you have and to alternate them if necessary (as you would with hand dyed yarns).

Also, natural dyes are more fragile than synthetic dyes. These colours are likely to change over time as they soften slightly. De Rerum Natura have selected the most resistant plants and natural extracts but they advise avoiding exposing the balls or knitted garments for a long time to direct sunlight.

Lastly, the colour "grand bleu", which contains a high concentration of indigo, may bleed slightly when knitted. Indigo pigments are non-toxic and even have beneficial anti-bacterial properties. This excess dye is easily washed off with soapy water.

Hey Mama Wolf Mokosh
£14.50
  • Material: 100% Merino d'Arles GOTS Wool

  • Yardage: 300m/100g

  • Needle: 3-4 mm

  • Gauge: 24 = 10 cm

  • Washing instructions: Hand Wash

Mokosh is one of Hey Mama Wolf’s most popular yarns. It’s a 2-ply, sport weight yarn made from Merino d'Arles GOTS-certified wool—with a 21 micron count, this is the softest wool native to Europe. This rare sheep breed hails from southern France and, due to the high crimp of its fleece, yarn spun from this wool has pockets of trapped air, providing insulation and resulting in warmer garments. The wool from this breed is exceptionally fluffy, bouncy, and soft.

Our favorite GOTS-certified mill in Turkey then spins and dyes our exquisite organic wool, allowing us to have everything under one roof. This reduces our carbon footprint and ensures that the wool meets our high standards for quality and sustainability. GOTS certification is important to us, as it guarantees the best for the environment, sheep, and even the people involved in the production.

Mokosh is lightweight, lofty, and has a fine sheen. This makes it ideal for knitting sweaters, hats, and shawls.
